迪拜公共交通工具使用量的巨大跳跃

迪拜：越来越多的人依赖公共交通工具穿梭于城市之间，使用各种各样交通工具的乘客数量几乎增长了850万人。

周六，道路运输局透露，在本年度的前六个月，迪拜有多于2亿7100万的人乘坐公共交通工具，包括地铁，公交车，水上交通工具和出租车。

RTA的行政主管MattarAlTayer说：“在2015年的前六个月，在迪拜，我们有2亿7100万人的使用公共交通工具。尤其当我们对比于2014年同时期2亿6250万人使用公共交通工具的统计资料时，这是一个具有重大意义的增长。”

AlTayer说：“相比于去年同时期8140万的地铁乘客数量，今年前六个月，红线和绿线的地铁乘客数量已超过8820万人。”

今年前半年公交车的乘客数量高达6650万人，迪拜公交车服务公司为其中4400万乘客进行了服务，仅次于提升了1340万乘客数量的地铁站服务乘客量。位居第三的是城市间的公交车乘客数量。剩余的乘客为公交车租赁服务所服务的公众和私人业务。

水上交通工具，包括abras，水上公交车，水上taxi和迪拜渡船的使用人数在今年前半年也提高了750万人。

Abra乘客的数量为710万人，水上公交车乘客数量为25万人，迪拜渡船为56568人，水上taxi为14541人。

AlTayer说：“在今年的前六个月，迪拜的出租车服务（迪拜出租车公司及其他特权公司）进行了5350万次的旅途，服务乘客数量提高到1亿零750万人。迪拜出租车公司提供的服务数量最多，出行2300万次旅行，服务乘客4600万人。”

AlTaye说，他很高兴每年公共交通工具使用的持续增长。他说，RTA公司的这一举措目的在于减少私家车的使用，增加公共交通工具的使用，使公共交通工具成为迪拜居民的首要选择。他指出，RTA正努力提高公共交通工具的使用份额到2030年增长30%，并成功的将这一份额从2006年的6%增加至2014年的14%，预期这一份额到2015年将增长至15%。

Dubai:Morepeoplearedependingonpublictransportationtogetaroundthecity,withagrowthofalmost8.5millioninthenumberofpassengersusingvariousmodesofpublictransport.

TheRoadsandTransportAuthorityrevealedonSaturdaythatmorethan271millionpeopleusedmasstransitmeansinDubai,whichincludetheMetro,publicbuses,marinetransitmeansandtaxis,duringthefirstsixmonthsoftheyear.

“Inthefirstsixmonthsof2015,wehad271millionridersusepublictransportationinDubai.Thisisasignificantgrowth,especiallywhencomparedtostatisticsduringthesameperiodof2014,when262.5millionpeopleusedpublictransportation,”MattarAlTayer,director-generalandchairmanoftheboardofexecutivedirectorsoftheRTA,said.

“ThenumberofMetroridersonboththeRedandGreenLinesoverthelastsixmonthstoppedmorethan88.2millionriders,comparedwith81.4millionduringthesameperiodlastyear,”AlTayersaid.

“Thenumberofpublicbusridersduringthefirsthalfofthisyearamountedtomorethan66.5millionridersandtheDubaiBusserviceaccountedforthelargestnumberofridersrecordingmorethan44millionpassengers,followedbytheMetrostations’feederservicewhichlifted13.4millionriders,andthirdcametheIntercitybusservicewhichwasusedbyalmost6millionriders.TheremainingriderswereservedbyBusRentalServicetopublicandprivateentities.

“Themarinetransitmodes,comprisingabras,waterbus,watertaxiandDubaiFerry,haveliftedduringthefirsthalfofthisyearalmost7.5millionpassengers.Thenumberofabraridersaloneclocked7.1millionriders,whereasthewaterbuslifted250,000people,DubaiFerryserved56,568ridersandthewatertaxiofferedservicesto14,541people.”

TaxisoperatinginDubai(DubaiTaxiandfranchisetaxicompanies)made53.5milliontripsduringthefirstsixmonthsofthisyear,lifting107.5millionpassengers.TheDubaiTaxiCorporationhasliftedthebiggestchunkoftheseridersbyoperatingabout23milliontripsservingabout46millionpassengers,”AlTayersaid.

AlTayersaidhewasdelightedwiththesustainedgrowthintheannualpublictransportridershipwhich,hesays,emulatesthestrategicdriveoftheRTAaimedatreducingtheuseofprivatevehiclesandaugmentingtheuseofpublictransitmeans,renderingthemthefirstmobilitychoiceintheemirateofDubai.HenotedthattheRTAwasendeavouringtoraisetheshareofpublictransportmeanstoasmuchas30percentby2030,andhadsucceededinraisingthissharefrom6percentin2006to14percentin2014,andanticipatedthisratewouldhit15percentbytheendof2015.
